Did You Know... There are over 250 abused and neglected children in protective custody in the 20th Judicial District which includes Faulkner, Van Buren & Searcy Counties? Through no fault of their own these children have their worlds turned upside down. Keeping them safe often means they are stripped of all that is familiar to them. They have to deal with being shuffled from home to home, having a multitude of strangers asking them questions, and being separated from siblings and the comfort of their friends. Most of them are frightened. All of them are confused. It is for the these children that CASA speaks!

JULY 13 - CASA PICNIC CASA will hold it's annual summer picnic to give thanks to volunteers and associates at Beaverfork Lake, from 4pm to 8pm. JULY 16 - INFO NIGHT The Conway office will open after hours to share our mission and program details with any interested persons. 5:30pm JULY 20 - SUMMER TRAINING Summer training for new advocates begins. Training will be held in the Conway office. Interested advocates should contact volunteer coordinators Brandi Pollard or Eirin Lewis. AUG 8 - CONWAY KIDS TRIATHLON The 12th Annual First Security Conway Kids Triathlon at UCA. With support from the Conway Running Club, Kids aged 7 to 15 will swim, bike and run in one of the nation's premiere youth triathlons. The event is open to kids of all abilities with the emphasis on health, self-esteem, self-confidence and fun. Proceeds from this event benefit CASA.
